The Pit  (2006)

The Pit is a Quake III Arena map for 2-12 players. It was designed to support small one-on-one games, but also to scale well for larger games. The more players you add, the more frantic the action gets.

The Pit has three main areas combat: the platform, the quad-damage room, and of course the pit. The weapons included are the rocket launcher, plasma gun and shotgun, all of which encourage close-combat action. Because I focused much of my attention on the design of the map, the action "flows" through these three areas very smoothly. This, and my choice of weapons, results in a very fast paced game of Quake III Arena.

Gauntlet  (2005)

This map for Quake III Arena is designed to be a tense, somewhat slow-paced gauntlet fight between 2-4 players. The map is intentionally small and dark, with the holes in the ceilings making for great sneak-attack tactics.

To play it at its best make it a one-on-one game, and use gauntlets only. If all goes well, the gameplay will morph itself into a cat-and-mouse chase style game, where you're trying to creep up on your opponent to stab him in the back!

Deathmatch Arena  (2003)

A Quake map made in 2003? Seeing as there have already been two sequels to Quake (and there's another one on the way) you're probably wondering why I made this map. Well, it started as a simple experiment to test the power of Quake engine, but it soon grew into a great deathmatch map.

This is a 16 player multiplayer map. It contains all the Quake weapons (although you'll have to polish up your Rocket Jumping skills to get the lightning gun) and is designed in an "Arena" style layout similar to Quake 3. The map includes an underground tunnel, a ground floor, and a balcony floor for the grenade assaults.

Since this started as an experiment and was a quick job (just a couple of days) I didn't bother with any lighting, but it plays well, so if you have a bunch of friends and 486's lying around, give this map a shot.

The Duel Bridge  (2003)

This is a multiplayer, duel only map for Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. With nowhere to run, the battles on this map can get rather tense. As long as nobody uses Force Grip or Force Push, the map stays fair.
