The first thing you really need to know about Mobeen Fikree is that he hates talking in the third person.
Glad I got that out of the way.
I run Vertex Pop, a tiny videogame and app development studio.
When I design videogames, I obsess over game feel. I focus on mechanics, placing a great deal of importance on the feel of the player's movement and actions, along with responsive controls.
I'm passionate about usability and interaction design. Especially with the iPad, where interaction is intimate and tactile, there's room to simplify and refine the way we interact with software.
I'm also interested in writing about technology, design, usability, and of course, videogames. I'm known to veer well off topic though.
I graduated from University of Waterloo with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
